Reimagine the brand identity of one of Portland’s most unique art galleries–Nationale.
Unique, yet Approchable
Nationale is the ideal destination in Portland for those who are searching for something out of the ordinary in terms of art. The gallery is an excellent place to connect with the local creative community and discover artwork with its friendly ambiance and extraordinary selection.
Custom Typography
Nationale's brand identity relies on two main typefaces, Space Grotesk and Figtree. For the display typeface, I customized Space Grotesk to align with the overall visual language of the brand, incorporating rounded corners and ink traps that echo the curvy lines of the 'hand' logo.

Nationale’s mission is to support emerging artists from across the country and creates a culture of collecting in which art and ideas are valued in a tangible way.
